Pool Attendant and Rule Violations

Pool Attendant and Rule Violations

Dear Homeowners,

We’re aware of some issues that occurred at the pool over the weekend and we’re diligently working to ensure they’re addressed.

We do need the help of all pool users to ensure the rules are followed. The attendant on duty does primarily monitor the gate but is also available to respond to other rule violations such as inappropriate language, inappropriate music, and the throwing of balls. If you hear or see a rule violation, please notify the attendant on duty so that it can be addressed. If you feel your complaints aren’t being addressed, please notify CMA via email or phone. Again, we need all pool users to notify the attendant of rule violations. The attendant will never be able to hear and see everything going on especially when the pool is busy. It takes all of us.

Moving forward, the attendant will not allow balls within the pool perimeter. They can be stored with the attendant or taken home. If you see any being thrown, please let the attendant know.

The Board wants our pool to have a fun family friendly atmosphere, and we are continuing to work on it but we need your help.

Thank you,
Board of Directors

Pool Opening and New Pool Hours

Pool Opening and New Pool Hours

Brookfield Owners and Residents,

We’ve heard feedback from homeowners and residents about our pool. A majority of homeowners and residents have let us know that they want an attendant at the pool all day while it is open. We compared multiple options including security and lifeguards. We’ve decided to staff the pool with an attendant who will primarily monitor the gate for unauthorized entry and other trespassing as the root of our issues at the pool stem from this. Due to the cost of this endeavor, we are opening the pool a bit later this year and slightly changing the hours. The new pool hours will be 10 AM to 8 PM with extended exercise/lap-only hours from 5 AM to 10 AM. For access to the pool for exercise/lap-only, please contact Certified Management of Austin for additional information.

While the pool season and hours are slightly reduced, the pool is still opening before City of Austin and Pflugerville pools and will have longer hours.

We appreciate the feedback we’ve gotten and have tried to implement the suggestions while still ensuring fiscal responsibility. The pool has not been used much in the early mornings so we don’t believe this will have much impact.

As a reminder, the pool will open Friday May 25th at 10 AM. The pool will remain open through the season from 10 AM to 8 PM daily. An active pool card is required to use the pool at all times. If you don’t have an active pool card, please send in your pool form.
