The Association has been notified by Pavement Restoration (a contractor working for Travis County) about preventative maintenance on road surfaces within the neighborhood that will be started on or around August 28th and be completed within 10-12 days. Please see the notice below from Pavement Restoration. Contact information for Pavement Restoration can be found on the notice if you have any questions or concerns.
payment_restorationBrookfield Homeowners and Residents,
As you are aware, the Association has contracted with Grounds for Play to remove our existing playscapes and install our new playscapes and safety equipment.
If you would like to see mockups for each park, please see below:
playscape_big_kids_park playscape_toddler_parkThe toddler park will also have fence around the playscape as an additional safety measure.
The project was slated to start in a few weeks but the playscapes and equipment have arrived early and the contractor is able to start work immediately. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. We believe you’ll be incredibly happy with the new playscapes and the wait will be worth it! As a reminder, Northtown MUD has a few different playscape options in the park along Battenburg Trail.
Please use caution in our parks and stay away from the playscape areas while construction is taking place. Both areas will be secured with caution tape and barricades. Please do not remove the barricades or the caution tape.
We will send out further communications when the work is complete and the playscapes are open for business.
We look forward to seeing the new playscapes and shade structures.
Thank you,
Board of Directors
Brookfield Owners and Residents,
As we approach the 4th of July, we’d like to remind all homeowners and residents that fireworks are strictly prohibited in Brookfield. The use of fireworks will result in an incurable violation and $50 fine for each instance.
Fireworks create a significant safety concern for both property and life in Central Texas. Both the City of Austin and City of Pflugerville have ordinances banning them for the same reasons.
Please respect your neighbors with small children, PTSD, and pets and refrain from using fireworks. There are several controlled fireworks shows taking place in the Austin area including the popular Austin Symphony Orchestra Free 4th of July Concert and Fireworks at Vic Mathias Shores (formally Auditorium Shores) and the Pflugerville Pfirecracker Pfestival at the Pfield (Pflugerville Stadium).
As in 2018, we will have contracted security guards patrolling the neighborhood over the holiday in addition to relying on the community to enforce our CC&Rs. If you see fireworks in the neighborhood, please contact Certified Management via email at frontdesk@cmaaustin.com. Please include the address of the offender, date and time, and a photo of the violation.
Thank you,
Board of Directors
Brookfield Owners Association
Dear Homeowners,
With the resignation of our social committee chair, the Association has been unable to plan events for this summer but it isn’t too late to get started. If you are interested in joining the social committee to help plan and execute events, please let us know by contacting Certified Management of Austin at frontdesk@cmaaustin.com.
If we are able to get enough volunteers and jump start social committee meetings, there’s no reason we can’t have a couple great events this summer.
Social events bring the community together and play a vital role in helping neighbors get to know each other. Please let us know if you’re interested in volunteering and continuing to make Brookfield a great place to live.
Thank you,
Board of Directors
